Obituary of Edward Glenn Hubert

Edward "Glenn" Hubert, 70, hailed from Pasadena, TX, passed from this earthly life on November 15, 2017, surrounded by his loved ones in his home in Wytheville, VA.

His wish was to be cremated and have his ashes kept in his special urn until a later date. 

Glenn was the youngest son of Ray and Pearl Hubert of Livingston, TX. He went to Sam Rayburn High School in Pasadena, TX, class of 1965. Glenn moved to Kodiak, AK, at a young age and became a commercial fisherman for over 20 years. He eventually moved back to Texas and fished commercially in Galveston Bay, as well as being a part-time security guard. Glenn was a connoisseur of great food, so in 1996, he and his wife Debby opened and ran a successful seafood diner, The Shrimp Hut, in Livingston, TX. Glenn also enjoyed riding Harley's, roller skating, watching all sports, playing poker and other games with friends and family. 

Glenn is survived by his wife, Debby Hubert, of Wytheville, VA; daughter Stacy Morris of Wytheville, VA; brother, Charlie Hubert and wife, Jeanette of Eunice, LA; brother, Wayne Hubert and wife, LaTrese of Wytheville, VA; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Pearl Hubert. The family would like to thank Wythe Hospice for their care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Glenn's Life Care Fund at www.gofundme.com/GlennHubert.
