Obituary of Edgar Vernon Hancock
Edgar Vernon Hancock, age 72, of Marion, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018. He was the son of the late Dunn and Pearl Hayton Hancock. Edgar was preceded in death by his sons, Kenneth Wayne Hancock, Christopher Winton Hancock, brother, Charles Ellis Hancock, sister, Geneva Stowers. He is survived by his wife, Shelia Davidson Hancock of Marion; daughter and son-in-law, Lynn Hancock Young & John of Crockett; sister and brother-in-law, Marie & Larry McLean, of Fredericksburg; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral service will be held 11 A.M., March 28, 2018, at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow in the Red Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10 A.M. noon until service time.
