Jake Junior Hancock Obituary

Jake Junior Hancock, age 85, of Wytheville passed away Friday, January 31, 2025. He was the son of the late Jake and Dorothy Hancock and preceded in death by his wife Betty Hancock; children, Doug Hancock, Randy Hancock, Tony Hancock; siblings, Jimmy Hancock, Walter Hancock, James Hancock.


Jake is survived by his children, Carrie Bruce, Bobby and Christie Hancock, John and Gina Hancock, Arville (Clem) and Teresa Bentley, Kenny and Monika Bentley, Becky Hancock, Randy Hancock, and Robert Hancock; siblings, Mary Hancock, Lucille and Bill McClary, Roger and Sandra Hancock, and Robert Hancock; several special grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.


Funeral service will be held 2 P.M. Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Reverend Joe Farmer with interment to follow in the Bland Cemetery.
