
Obituary of Mary Allene Fisher Harmon Gallimore
Mary Allene Fisher Harmon Gallimore, age 89, of Wytheville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. She was born on October 10, 1935 in Wythe County to the late James Walter and Kathrine Shipwash Fisher. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Eldridge Harmon and Herbert Gallimore; brothers, Joe Fisher, Ray Fisher, Jack Fisher and Winfred Fisher; five sisters, Beatrice Porter, Florence Wright, Lucille Grubb, June Martin and Mona Jeanette Fisher; stepsister, Ismay Ann Akers.
She was a lifelong and faithful member of the Liberty Hill P.H.C. and a woman of prayer, Sunday School teacher and the Treasurer of Women’s Ministry of L.H.P.H.C. for many years.
Survivors include her two brothers and sisters-in-law, Walter and Betty Fisher; Reed Fisher all of Wythe County; special daughter, Tammie Lewis; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Zendell Harmon of Piney; Linda Jackson of Wytheville and Michael Jackson of Max Meadows; grandchildren, Duston and Laura Jackson, Stephen Jackson, Kayla and Levi Turpin; 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held 7 P.M. Friday, February 21, 2025 at Liberty Hill Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Josh Graham, Pastor Lewis Arnold and Pastor Bobby Lewis officiating. Graveside service will be held 11 A.M. Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M. Friday at the church. The family would like to especially thank Commonwealth Senior Living and the Medi Home Health and Hospice.
