Dear Wiggins Family,
We were saddened to see the news of Jonathan's passing, but we are grateful to have had the privilege of serving the Lord with him at Morningside in Greenville, especially in the choir. We often sat together in the bass section and Jonathan was faithful and consistent in his ministry in the choir. He truly was a caring young man, and he was thoughtful of others even through his health challenges. I appreciate being on his Christmas card list, and I am looking forward to seeing him again in heaven. Praise the Lord for His goodness and we are praying for you all during this time. Thankful to have known Jonathan! With love, Randy and Julie Carrier.

Dear family, We are so sorry for the loss of your son. We enjoyed getting to know him when we were in the Morningside Baptist church choir in Greenville SC. He was so sweet natured and a gentleman. He truly loved the Lord with his whole heart. He will be missed. "Well done, thou good and faithful servant."

Praying for comfort for your family. I saw the note about Jonathan's passing in the BJU alumni newsletter. I had a few classes with Jonathan and remember him always being friendly and joyful.

Since my parents told me the news about Jonathan's passing, my heart and prayers have been going out to you all. I remember the warmth of your entire family and Jonathan's amiable spirit in particular during my family's visits with yours when you lived in Max Meadows. May the Lord be near to the brokenhearted.
Weeping with you in this sorrow,
Eleanor (Dobson) Dean

Prayers for the family. Jon always had a kind smile and word of encouragement for others. He was willing to help in whichever ministry needed him. His birthday and Christmas cards he was faithful to send out will be missed. During the years we were in the Singles class at church in Greenville, SC, I never heard Jon say anything inappropriate, degrading, or unkind to anyone. He was truly a servant of Jesus, and was intent on following Him closely. "Well done, thou good and faithful servant."

My condolences go out to you, Jonathan’s family and friends. I worked with him at CJ’s and he was always cracking jokes. He was a great worker as well and never met a stranger. Sending prayers y’all’s way!

Rick and I sorrow with you but not as those without hope for Jonathan though absent in body is forever present with our Lord and Saviour. We have a few “choice” memories of Jonathan that make us smile and we have as we reminisce about them. The most recent is receiving a thoughtful Christmas card this past a Christmas from him for the first time. He followed in his mother’s footsteps. Christmas season officially began in years past when we received our first Christmas card always from Lee and Cathy. This year our first card was from Jonathan. I’m so thankful I kept it. “For so an entrance shall be administered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 1:11). This is Jonathan’s testimony.

Jon was a fun part of our singles group in Greenville, SC—always had a joke, a line from Little House, or a card ready to send to someone on a holiday—which he NEVER missed! He always brought a smile at our gatherings. We are thankful his fight with his seizures is over, but our hearts go out to you and your family.

Hosea and I are so very sorry for your loss. We loved Jonathan, his smile, and his corny jokes. While we don't understand God's plan, we know that He sent us a Comforter for times such as these, and we will see Jonathan again one day. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Our sincerest condolances to the Wiggins family. We never met Jonathan, as we watched services at Breckbill Bible church online only, but we will never forget seeing Jonathan's smiling face as he led the singing of hymns. We are very sorry for the loss of your beloved son and brother, but rejoice that Jonathan is now in heaven with his Lord. We are praying for you.
In Christ,
Saviz & Lara Hatam

Many sympathies from the Bert Brown family. We all have wonderful, funny memories of Jonathan and the family. Bert always said one of Jonathan's most outstanding gifts was knowing the page number of any song in the hymnal!! My heart is breaking for you all. Cindy Brown
