Obituary of Jean Elizabeth Holmes Russo

Jean Elizabeth Holmes Russo age 83, of Wytheville, passed away on March 23, 2025. She was born on October 19, 1941 in Berwick, PA to the late James Edward and Elizabeth Davenport Holmes. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Robert Neil Russo, her sister, Joyce Wark and her brother Jackie Holmes. She is survived by her daughters Shari Sexton (Donald) and Susan Russo; two granddaughters Jessica Pauley (Aaron) and Ashleigh Sexton; two great grandchildren Cooper and Payton Pauley; one sister Carol Rockwell (Lee); her brother-in-law John Wark; several nieces and nephews; and special friend Pat McClane. A graveside service will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, March 29, 2025 at the West End Cemetery Mausoleum conducted by Kevin Jarvis. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Cedar Hill United Methodist Church, 2953 Chapman Road, Wytheville, VA 24382.
