Brenda Jolene Pearman, age 77, of Max Meadows, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2025. She was born May 28, 1947, to the late Samuel L. and Ellen Mae McDaniel Burnett, and preceded in death by a brother Reverend Charles F. Burnette. Jolene was a longtime member of Ft. Chiswell Church of God.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Edward Pearman, Jr.; son, Brian Pearman, Wytheville VA; sister-in-law, JoAnn Burnette Johnson, Greenville, SC; nieces, Andrea & Brent Fortson of Zebulon GA, Charlene & Tim Wheeler of Stanley NC, Great Nephews Andrew Fortson of Zebulon GA, Matthew Fortson of Thomaston GA, Taylor Fortson of Alexandria VA Joseph Wheeler of Columbus NC; Great Niece Erin Wheeler of Asheboro NC; Great-Great Nephew, Elijah Fortson of Zebulon GA.

Funeral service will be held 2 PM Wednesday April 9, 2025, at the Fort Chiswell Church of God conducted by Reverend Kenneth Quesenberry, with interment to follow in the St. Paul Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1 PM until service time.
