Willard Dean “Amazon” Walters age 67, of Wytheville, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025. He was born on April 13, 1958 to the late Cecil Coy and Patricia Gilbert Walters. Amazon retired from N &W Railroad and his own company Star Contractors.

Survivors include son, Nicholas Brian Walters of Wytheville; grandson, Brian Dean Walters of Wytheville; former wife, Carol Walters of Wytheville.

The family will receive friend from 5 to 7 P.M. April 24, 2025 at the Grubb Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 7 P.M. on April 24, 2025 with Pastor Derek Cowan officiating. He will be laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery.
