Joseph Hunter Lowe, age 31, of Dublin, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2025. He was born on December 10, 1993, to the late Jeffrey and Dawn Bass Lowe.

Hunter is survived by his wife Amber Sue Lowe of Dublin; daughters, Saylor Hodge of Dublin, Reavlee Lowe of Wytheville; son Weston Hodge of Dublin; sister and brother-in-law, Ashley and Matt Pennigton of Rural Retreat; his best friends, Dakota Mabe of Winchester, Chance Harrington of Rural Retreat; special canines, Gus and Moose; and a host of extended family also survive.

Funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. Friday, April 25, 2025, at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Pastor Andrew Davis, with interment to follow in Mt. View Cemetery, Rural Retreat. The family will receive friends Friday from 12 noon until service time. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be to the Rural Retreat High School Baseball Program, 321 East Buck Avenue Rural Retreat, Va 24368.
