
Obituary of Pauline Cynthia Helen Black Carver
Pauline Cynthia Helen Black Carver age 70, of Wytheville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 21, 2025. She was born in Wytheville on September 22, 1954 to the late Sidney “Tibb” and Evelyn Hale Black. She was a member of the Franklin Street Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her three brothers, James “Bo” Black, Sidney “Rab” Black and William “Butchie” Black.
Survivors include her daughter, Margaret “Margo” Stokes of Roanoke; two sons, Ryan “Boogie” Black of Wytheville; Aaron and Melissa Black of New Hill, NC; nine grandchildren, Sydney Black of Atlanta; Jourdan Black of Roanoke; Chauncey Combs, Jr of Roanoke; Jasmine Black of Raliegh, Brinlee Arissa Black of New Hill, NC; Jayden Willson of Roanoke; Ava Black and Avery Black of Roanoke; Apple Leftwich of Roanoke; two sisters, Susie Black of Wytheville; Georgia Black of Wytheville; three nieces, Teresa Black, Alexis Patterson and Karen James.
A memorial service will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at the Franklin Street Methodist Church with Pastor Harry Grubb officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 P.M. Saturday at the Church.
