Iva Jewel Shrader age 80, of Wytheville, passed away on June 14, 2025. She was born in Austinville, VA on August 6, 1944 to the late Andrew Fielden and Neta Gertrude Burnett Hanks. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lee Shrader and three brothers and a sister. Jewel attended and was a member of the Crockett Tabernacle.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Annette and Gary Brown of Eastville, VA; Melissa and Dale Stevens of Wytheville; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers; special cousin, Linda Stuart of Kernersville, NC.

Funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at the Grubb Funeral Home with the Reverend Richard Collins and the Reverend Tommy Addison officiating. Interment will follow in the West End Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday at the Grubb Funeral Home.
