Robert Thomas "Cricket" Waller Obituary

Robert “Cricket” Thomas Waller age 73, of Wytheville, passed away on Wednesday, June 18 2025. He was born on September 16, 1951 to the late Walter and Reatha Ellen King Waller in Wythe County. Cricket was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Dunford Waller; grandson Robert Lee Patton Barnett; two sisters, Pricilla “Penny” Akers and Carla Ann Waller.

Survivors include his three daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and James Cox of Wytheville; Diana and Edward “Dobbie” Taylor of Wytheville; Frankye and Gary Carpenter of Max Meadows; 14 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; companion, Janet Warden and her son, John Warden (Emily Zimmer) of Ivanhoe; sister, Lessa Carol Wright of Grahams Forge and a host of friends.
