Olivia Anna Alley age 16, of Wytheville, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025. Olivia was a Volunteer at the Smyth Animal Rescue, which she called her “Happy Place”, She loved donating her time every Saturday and rescuing several animals by way of her family. Olivia was a rising Senior at George Wythe High School.

She is preceded in death by her Maternial Grandparents, Vernon and Sue Smith and Lenor and George Hall; Paternal Grandparents, Russell Alley and Barbara and James Sayers.

Survivors include her parents, Matthew and Courtney Alley of Wytheville; sister Sadie Anne Alley of Wytheville; Maternial Grandparents, Debbie and Rick Hall of Chilhowie; Paternal Grandparents, Bobby and Angela Alley of Rural Retreat; Paternal grandmother, Janie Alley of Rural Retreat; two aunts, Kariann Alley of Rural Retreat; Shannon Hall of Chilhowie; special friend, David Sawyers of Wytheville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Service will be held 2 P.M. Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at the Legacy Church in Wytheville with Pastor Brett McCleary officiating. Interment will be private and there will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers the family request donation be made to the Smyth Animal Rescue at 182 Rifton Drive Marion, VA 24354.
