In Loving Memory of Timothy Edgar Grubb.

“The Man, The Myth, The Legend” passed away peacefully on July 26, 2025, surrounded by his loving daughters. A devoted father, spirited entertainer, and cherished friend, Tim filled every room with laughter, music, and love.

Born on September 22, 1960, in Wytheville, VA, Tim lived a passionate life. An avid fisherman, he found serenity by the water, casting lines and reeling in stories. Music was his heartbeat—especially karaoke, where his enthusiastic performances, whether on key or not, brought smiles to all. He was a natural on the dance floor, moving with a rhythm that invited everyone to join in. Above all, he cherished time with loved ones, sharing his infectious sense of humor and endless childhood stories that painted vivid pictures of his past, captivating everyone who listened.

To his daughters, Casey, Katie, and Rebecca, Tim was a guiding star, teaching them to embrace life with laughter, courage, and most importantly love. His silly jokes, warm hugs, and unwavering support will live on in their hearts.

He is survived by his daughters, Casey Bryant, Katie Grubb, and Rebecca Johnson (Adam); his children’s mother, Kathy Grubb; siblings, Steve Grubb (Maxine), Jane Starling, and Troy Grubb; his precious grandchildren, Ty Bryant, John Grubb, Lillian Wilson, Abigail Grubb, Jack Grubb, Noelle Bryant, Grayson Grubb, and Amy Clary; his many treasured cousins, nieces, and nephews; and a wide circle of friends who will miss his karaoke serenades and quick wit.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Edgar and Shirley Grubb; his beloved son, Stanton Grubb; his eldest two grandchildren, Alexus and Pollux Grubb; and his favorite brother-in-law Fred Starling.

Tim’s spirit will live on in every song sung, every dance shared, and every laugh echoed among those he loved.

A memorial service will be held at 2 P.M. on August 2, 2025, at Grubb Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow in the New Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 P.M.
