Freda Gayle Ring Leagans age 66, of Wytheville, passed away on July 29, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Wythe County on November 10, 1958 to the late William “Bill” and Mandy Ring.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Joe Lee Leagans, Jr. of Wytheville; daughter, Melissa Gayle Leagans of Wytheville; son and daughter-in-law, Joe Lee, III and Angie Leagans of Wytheville; granddaughter, Jaden Grace Leagans; sister, Betty Joe Cassell of Pennsylvania and brother and sister-in-law, J.D. and Sue Ring of Pennsylvania; brother-in-law, David Allen Sawyers of Wytheville.
