Kenneth dedicated 46 years of his life as a minister of God's word. He would fondly recall the memory of God dealing with his heart to preach his word at the tender age of four years old. He was the pastor of Thy Word is Truth Tabernacle in Crockett for 31 years. To all who know him you would first remember his smile, laugh, and love for God's word and his congregation.
Special thanks to Dr. Asher and staff of Blue Ridge Cancer Center in Pulaski, Dr. Rotche of Blue Ridge Cancer Center in Wytheville, as well as his attending physician Jenny Tarter.
Also special thanks to the loving congregation of Thy Word is Truth Tabernacle for their love, prayers, and support, and their commitment to the word of God. Special thanks also to friends Larry and Connie Gilley which have been like a brother and sister for 42 years, and to Larry McGrady for the countless hours of driving to and from appointments.
Kenneth's celebration of life will be held in a private ceremony with close family and members of his congregation. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.grubbfuneralhome.com
