Linda Carolyn Brooks Cline, age 76, of Wytheville, VA passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025. She was born in Rural Retreat VA on October 09, 1948. Linda had the ability to make everyone feel special and loved. She gave so much of herself for her children and grandchildren. Her selflessness and dedication were unparalleled.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Maynard Brooks, Mother and Stepfather Della and Paul Pridemore Sr; Daughter Patricia Carol Pridemore; Sister Patricia Brooks; Brothers Gary Brooks, Robert Brooks, Ricky Brooks, Jeff Brooks, and Ronnie Brooks.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years Leon Cline; Daughters Amy Wetzel and Carrie Smith; Stepson Billy Cline; Granddaughters Nikki Burks, Cat Hylton, and T’yanna Rainey. Grandsons DJ Wetzel, Alex Hylton, Brayden Rainey, Treyvon Rainey, and Avery Miller. Linda also had 15 great grandchildren. Brothers David Brooks and Tommy Brooks. Sisters Debbie Dalling and Joyce Copenhaver. Also, special friend Rebecca Brooks. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A service will be held at Rosewood Memorial Gardens in Rural Retreat, VA on Saturday, August 09, 2025, at 10am. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.grubbfuneralhome.com
