Carolyn Spencer Monday age 73, of Wytheville, passed away on August 3, 2025. She was born on September 23, 1951 to the late George Burton Franklin and Mildred Sutphin Spencer. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years George Thomas Monday, Sr., brother, Daniel Wayne Spencer.

Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Angela and Chuck Corvin of Wytheville; Kimberly Roberts of Wytheville; George T., Jr. and Irish Monday of SC; Timothy and Alisha Monday of Christiansburg; grandchildren, Megan Leatherwood, Zane Monday, Gaberiel Roberts, Kayleigh and Zack Archambeau, Adrianna Davis, Lucas Corvin, Riley Monday, Jesse Corvin and Mila Monday; one great grandchild, Greysen Seckler.

Memorial service will be held at 3 P.M. on Sunday, August 17, 2025 at the Grubb Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Lawrence officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 P.M.
