Agnes Grubb Williams was born on October 23,1933 in Wythe County VA to the late George and Susie Grubb. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 13, 2025. She was a devoted mother to eight children, grandmother to 26 grandchildren, and great grandmother to 22 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. (Bob) Williams, grandson- Adam Williams, brothers-Cecil, Ralph, Burton, Thomas, Dennis, Richard, and Edgar Grubb and sisters- Ruth Grubb, Noami Creger, Betty Waddell, Nancy Corvin, and Delores Foley.

Survived by sons-Dr. James & Karen Williams of Piney Flats, TN, Kenny & Regina Williams, Russell & Kristi Williams, Gary & Tammy Williams, and Thomas Williams of Wytheville, VA. Daughters-Doris & Carl Yonce, Linda & Jim Brinkley, and Rebecca & Harvey Scott of Wytheville, VA. Brothers- Wilmer & Glenda Grubb of Fallston, MD, C.A. Harris of Gulf Port, MS. Sister – Geneva & Roger Little of Jarrettsville, MD. Brothers-in-law- Preston Corvin of Marion, VA, George & Mary Ann Williams of Rural Retreat, Jim & Janie Williams of Wytheville, VA, Danny Underwood of Draper, VA. Sisters-in-law- Jeannie Williams of Elyria, OH, Dollie Williams of Wytheville, VA, Ruby Tickle of Draper, VA, and Edna & Ricky Parks of Wytheville, VA., Joann Grubb Hanover, PA, Grandchildren – Lindsey (Jonathan), Judy (Stephen), Sarah (Temple), Kent, Tyler, Ashley (Dicky), Amy (Landon), Alison (Michael), Robert (Emily), Shandi (Jess), Keith (Kamu), Craig, Tara, Megan, Jordin, Josh, Cory (Breanah), Tara, Courtney (Drew), Lanie (Ty), Emily, Sallie, Katie (Tyler), Samantha (Logan), Kelly, and Hanna. Great-Grandchildren-22 Also, she is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral service will be held 10 A.M. Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Galilee Christian Church, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Adam B.
