Delores “Dottie” Glendon Stroupe age 74, of Wytheville, passed away on Sunday, October5, 2025. She was born on July 15, 1951 to the late Newlin “Slim” Glendon and Emma Gertrude “Tutti” Bass Drawbond. She was preceded in death by a son, Samuel George Collins, Jr. and three sisters, Laura Hagee, Lynda Galimore and Jenny Turner.

Survivors include her husband, William “Bill” Stroupe of Wytheville; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Jody Monday of Wytheville; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Lynn Collins of Blanch, NC; seven grandchildren, Lauren, Curtis, Erica, Chelsea, Savanah, Stevie and Drew; six great grandchildren, Adaline, Della, Addison, Weston, Waylon, Hunter and Jake; special great grandson, Skyler Glendon Neugent; Mother-in-law, Evelyn Ferguson.
