Dennis Lee Arnold, 80, a lifelong resident of Max Meadows (Piney Community), passed away Saturday, November 8, 2025 — one day short of his 81st birthday. He was the son of the late William Lee and Margaret Proffitt Arnold.
Dennis was a graduate of Fort Chiswell High School and retired from Thompson Tire (formerly Bogle Tire Co.) in Wytheville after more than 40 years of providing dedicated and outstanding service to area residents. He was a faithful member of St. Paul Pentecostal Holiness Church, where he served in many roles throughout his life.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Tommy Dale Pinnix Arnold; his son, Greg, and wife Yesi; and four grandchildren, Luke, Alexis, Elyse, and Emily; a beloved sister-in-law, Sue Pinnex; a brother-in-law, John Wayne Pinnix; sister-in-law, Sandra Arnold. He is also survived by extended family such as nephews, nieces, numerous cousins and lifelong friends.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul Pentecostal Holiness Church with interment to follow in West End Cemetery.
