Russell Raymond Appleby, age 74, of Wytheville, passed away Thursday, April 09, 2026. He was born on July 04, 1951, to the late Carl and Francis Jones Appleby. Russell was preceded in death by his son, Wesley Appleby.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Appleby of Wytheville; brother, Rondy Appleby of Florida. Russell will be remembered for his loving, kind and gentle soul.
