Doris Gaye Armstrong, age 87, of Wytheville, passed away Friday, April 17, 2026. Doris was born May 6, 1938, to the late Claude L. and Charmie Comer Corvin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Armstrong; brother, Ronald Corvin, and a grandson, Kevin Patrick Jennings.

She is survived by her sons, Kevin and Eva Jennings of Wytheville, Ty Jennings and his fiancée Mary Burkett of Wytheville, Jack and Becky Jennings of Rural Retreat, Jason Armstrong of Ivanhoe; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and several extended family members also survive.

A graveside service will be held 2 P.M. Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at West End Cemetery conducted by Pastor Cody Sturgill. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.grubbfuneralhome.com
