"Syssy" Melissa Carol Robertson was 57 years old, she lived in Crockett, Virginia with Nikki Moore, Daniel McMillan, and Kimberly Moore. She passed on April 24th, 2026, at 12:17 pm peacefully with family by her side.

"Syssy” Melissa (Missy) was a person who loved everyone. Her favorite thing to say was, "I Love You More." She gave everyone she knew a hug and a kiss every time she saw you. She wore her heart on her sleeve, she just wanted everyone to get along. She was such a beautiful person. Some will remember her as a loudmouth haha, some will remember her as a bull in a China shop, but everyone will remember her as the most loving and giving person they knew, she'd go without to make sure you had.

She is survived by "Lil Sis" Nikki Moore, "Brother" Daniel McMillan, and her favorite human, Kimberly Moore (the only grandchild she would have)

Brother and sister-in-law, "Poncho" David Wayne and Lisa Moore; sister and brother-in-law, "Good Ol' Jim" and Jennifer Diane Shute; nephews and nieces, Christopher Wayne Moore, Garland Lee Sayers, Ammie Graybeal, and Amanda Marie Sayers, great-nephew, Hayden Moore.
