Terry "Tigger" Dewayne Earheart Obituary
Terry “Tigger” Dewayne Earheart, a beloved brother and friend, age 61, of Wytheville, Virginia, passed away on May 31, 2026, in Pulaski, VA.
Terry was born in Wytheville, Virginia, on November 8, 1964, to Ira Albert Earheart and Dorothy Elizabeth Arnold. He was a graduate of George Wythe High School and retired from Utility Trailer Manufacturing in Atkins, VA, in March 2025 after twenty-six years of dedicated service.
Terry had a deep love for Duke Blue Devil basketball, the Seattle Seahawks, spending time in nature, and watching wildlife. He is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Claude Earhart (Emily) of Wytheville; sisters and brothers-in-law; Doris Muncy (John), of Wytheville, Sherry Jones (Craig) of Max Meadows; and nephews, Tyler Yelton, Zachary Jones, Jacob Jones, and Phoenix Earhart. He also leaves behind many coworkers from Utility Trailer who were like family to him, including Daniel and Lisa Lambert.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ira; his mother, Dorothy; and his stepfather, Newman Smith.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Carilion New River Valley Medical Center and Pulaski Health and Rehab for the compassionate care provided to Terry. They also hold Utility Trailer Manufacturing in the highest regard for the support and kindness shown to him throughout his years of employment.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 5, at 2:00 PM at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel in Wytheville, with the Reverend Tim Irving of Wytheville Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at West End Cemetery in Wytheville. The family will receive friends at Grubb Funeral Home from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on June 5.
