David Eugene Osborne, age 59, of Wytheville, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Lewis Gale Pulaski Hospital. He was born on December 8, 1966, in Salisbury, Maryland. David was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Osborne; son Johnathan Cornett; brother, Bobby Osborne, Jr., mother-in-law, Francis Cornett.

He was a loving and caring son, husband, father, pawpaw, brother and uncle who loved to redo old vehicles, fishing and hunting with his sons, brother and nephew. He loved all his grandchildren and spending time with them. He also loved spending time with his fur baby Abby.

He done construction most of his life and then worked at Utility Trailer in Atkins VA later in life.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years Robin Cornett Osborne; son, Justin Turpin and Stephanie Ward; daughter, Marah Jane and Michael Bowers; mother, Frieda Parks Osborne; brother, Ronnie and Renee Osborne; father-in-law, W.L. Cornett; sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Rupe and Doug Rochelle, Sherry and Tim Mitchell; grandchildren, Shylah and Bentley Turpin, Autumn and Channing Delp, Gabryel Bowers; step-grandchildren, Raylan Bowers, and Andy Bowers; step great granddaughter, Alani Bowers; several nieces, nephews, other relatives; special friend and neighbor, John Grimes; caregivers, Andrew Osborne, Marah Jane and Mandy Peak.

Funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Reverend Derek Cowan with interment to Follow in the Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery.
