Mary Kuykendall, age 73, of Wytheville, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2026. She was born December 26, 1952, the daughter of the late Oakley and Virginia Henderson. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Wesley Kuykendall; son, Nathan Kuykendall; sister, Wanda Davis; brother, Lee Henderson.

She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Kuykendall; son, Andrew Kuykendall; sisters and brothers-in-law, Zella and Larry Doss, Vivian Collins, Clyde Davis; special great nephew, Allen Lane; several nieces and nephews also survive.

A memorial service will be held 7:00 P.M. Friday, August 28, 2026, at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Reverend Christopher Smith. The family will receive friends Friday from 5P.M. until service time. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.grubbfuneralhome.com
