Mary Crowe Havens, 87, of Wytheville, Virginia, passed away Sunday evening, August 30, 2026. She was born on February 16, 1939, to the late Walden and Ila May Lairson Crowe.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Edward Havens.

Mary is survived by her three sons: William Edward Havens Jr. and his wife Deborah; Terry Walden Havens; and Dennis Ray Havens and his wife Cynthia.

She was the proud grandmother of Heather (Chaston) Key of Pinnacle, North Carolina; Rebekah (Rutger) Owens of East Bend, North Carolina; and Jessica (Matthew) Stanley of East Bend, North Carolina.

She was also the loving great-grandmother of Lily-Mae Key, Raylen Owens, Hudson Stanley, Russell Owens, Albie Stanley, and Ila-May Stanley.

Mary was a devoted member of West End United Methodist Church in Wytheville, Virginia.

She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
