I had the pleasure of knowing and playing with Jimmy and Jr. Chitwood in Wytheville High School. He gave me the nick name "Gloryland"which stuck with me for four years. Since, meeting him while vacationing in Wytheville he called me Gloryland. How I received it; we were in football camp on New River Ivanhoe. We were running laps in a cow pasture, when he and Jr Chitwood passed me, they inquired "how are you doing", my response was " I am on the road to Gloryland." I counted him a great friend and a gentleman. God bless you who mourn your loss.
