I just learned of Jim's passing, and wanted to pass along my sincere condolences; I worked with him at Amsco for about 6 years in the 1990's and have fond memories of having lunch with him and GR while listening to the bluegrass station out of Galax. Jim was a real craftsman when it came to his equipment rebuild work, but more than that he was a good person and someone that I always enjoyed talking with.
