Melvin Gleaves Hedrick, age 78, of Wytheville, went home to be with the Lord on October 23, 2020. Preceded in death by his parents Lester and Annabelle Hedrick. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carolyn Smith Hedrick; four children, Glen & Kathy Hedrick, Marina & Kevin Morhead, Melinda & Mark Morgan, Marty & Mary Hedrick; 7 grandchildren, Lindsay Hedrick, Courtney Hedrick, Rustin Hedrick, Robbie Morgan, Cara Hedrick, Clara Hedrick, Amara Hedrick; 5 great grandchildren, Gage, William, Gid, Ryder and Reagan.
