Obituary of Douglas Wayne Hancock

Douglas Wayne Hancock, age 58, of Wytheville, passed away on Wednesday December 16, 2020. He was preceded in death by, his wife Connie Gilman Hancock; two brothers, Randy and Tony Hancock; stepfather Charles Williams; stepmother, Betty Hancock. Survivors include his mother, Mollie Smith Williams of Wytheville; father Jake Junior Hancock of Wytheville; sister and brother-in-law, Carrie and Stacy Bruce of Wytheville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Christy Hancock of Chilhowie; John and Gina Hancock of PA; two half brothers, Robert Hancock and Eddie Hancock; half sister, Becky Hancock; three step daughters, Denise Hall; April Grubb; Trina Grubb; stepson, Timmy Hall; step sister, Veronica and Chuck Mens of MD; four step brothers, Tony and Sheila Williams of TX; Nick Williams, of SC; Clem and Teresa Bentley of Rural Retreat; Kenny and Monica Bentley, of Wytheville; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held 1 P.M. Sunday December 20, 2020 at the Grubb Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Irvin officiating. Covid-19 restrictions will apply.
