Obituary of Delmer Walter Webb

Delmer Walter Webb age 84, of Wytheville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 14, 2021, at the home of his son, Jeff and Lynette Webb. Delmer was born on June 19, 1936, to the late John Walter, and Mae Felts Webb. He was a Loving father and enjoyed fishing camping and going to races. God called him home after his battle with Cancer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Neil Webb; and two sons, Delmer “Joey” Joseph Webb and Randy Sherwood Webb. Survivors include his daughter, Teresa Webb Peak of Max Meadows; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Lynette Webb of Floyd; James Dean “J.D.” and Carol Webb of Wytheville; daughter-in-law, Jerri Webb of Wytheville; his loving ex-wife, Mary Webb of Wytheville; grandchildren, Ronnie Webb (Tracey), Donnie Webb (Donna), Skyler Webb, (Kristen Cockerham), Scarlett Vest (Paul), Candace Saul (Tommy), Isaac Webb, Michael Peak Jr., Leslie Hoover (Wyatt Henley), Elizabeth Hoover, Benjamin Webb, and Bridgett Webb; brother and sister-in-law, Robert “Bobby “ and Margaret Webb; sister, Thelma “Patsy” Lambert; great-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, Faye Lynn Webb, J.W. Webb, Jeremiah Webb, Bryce Saul, Colton Saul, Kaleb Vest, and Michael Quesenberry, one niece, and three nephews.The family would like to thank his loving caregiver who brightened his days, Rebekah Hall. Special thanks to Medi Hospice for all their wonderful compassionate and loving care. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at the Grubb Funeral Home with Chaplain Robbie Vance officiating, with interment to follow in Rosenbaum Chapel PH Church Cemetery.
