Obituary of Sandra Sue Leffew Coleman

Sandra Sue Leffew Coleman, age 79, of the Austinville community, passed away at home surrounded by family Tuesday morning, May 11. She was the daughter of the late Samuel (Buster) and Virginia Bralley Leffew. Sue was employed by Wythe County Public Schools as secretary at Sheffey Elementary School for 29 years. She was a faithful member of Full Gospel Bible Mission in Austinville where she served as pianist until she was no longer able to attend due to illness. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Franklin Coleman and one daughter and son-in-law, Traci and Jim Hampton. Also surviving are her brother and sister-in-law, Tuck and Elizabeth Lephew, sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Tommy Duncan, several nieces and nephews, along with other extended family members. Funeral service will be held 7 P.M Friday, May 14, 2021 at the Grubb Funeral Home with the Reverend Ronnie Isom and Reverend Eugene Crockett officiating. Graveside service will be held on Saturday at 11 A.M. in Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 P.M. Friday at the Grubb Funeral Home.
