Obituary of Shelvey Jean Collins

Shelvey Jean Collins age 82, of Max Meadows, passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Wythe County on June 15, 1939 to the late Mitchell and Josie Jones. She was preceded in death by Husband, Harry Collins; granddaughter, Michelle Hudson; two brothers, James Jones and Delmar Jones; three sisters, Ruby Kincer, Mattie Jones and Pauline Jones. Shelvey was retired from Alco Controls in Wytheville. Survivors include her children and spouses, Ronnie and Kathy Hudson; Rodney Hudson; Tina and Chuck Lewis; Rickey Collins; Kenny and Regina Collins; six grandchildren, Keith, Amanda, Skye, Sage, Suni and Brooke; nine great grandchildren, Jacob, Kristen, Zoie, Autumn, Gauge, Grant, Wesson and two little girls waiting on their arrival soon. Graveside service will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Ivanhoe, VA with the Reverend Don Crockett and the Revered Josh Graham officiating.
