Elmer Ray Parks Obituary

Elmer Ray Parks, age 57, of Wytheville, Va., passed away Saturday, June 24, 2023. He was preceded in death by his father, Colonel Vance Parks and brother, Rickey Dean Parks. Ray is survived by his mother, Betty Jean Parks of Wytheville; sisters & brother-in-law, Emma Rorrer of Wytheville, Debbie & Ronnie Arnold of Piney; brothers & sister-in-law, Clarence Wesley Parks of Wytheville, Roy Lee & Lori Parks, of Ivanhoe; Uncles & Aunt, Stan & Pat Burton of Princeton, WVA, and Jim Lilly of Princeton, WVA; special friends, Philip Taylor and may other special friends; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.


A memorial service will be held 7 PM, Friday, June 30, 2023 at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Lewis Arnold and the Reverend Josh Graham officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.grubbfuneralhome.com
