Obituary of Philip Davis Havens, Jr.

Philip Davis (Davey) Havens, Jr. age 59, went to be with Lord on Tuesday, July 25, 2023. Davey was born February 19, 1964, to Philip and Linda Havens of Wytheville. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Primm Havens; grandparents, Roy Edward Havens, Ovella Brackens, Charlie T., and Coralee Primm. Davey is survived by his son, Jared Havens of Hillsville; father, Philip Davis Havens, Sr. of Wytheville; sisters & brother-in-law, Deanna and Darrell Allen of Barren Springs, Judy Havens of Wytheville; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of special friends and supporters at the Wytheville Golf Club. A Celebration of Life will be held from 3 to 6 P.M. Saturday, September 9, 2023 at the Wytheville Golf Club. The family would like to extend a very special thanks to Wythe Hospice of Southwest Virginia for their care and compassion, with an extra thank you to Davey’s nurse Amy Kerns for her time given that was above and beyond expectations.
