Obituary of William Bryan Sweetwater
William Bryan Sweetwater of Wytheville VA went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Jan. 8, 2017 while sleeping. William was proceeded in death by his parents, Bryan and Mildred Sweetwater. William graduated from Jay High School in Jay, OK. William was a valued employee of Travel Centers of America in Wytheville, VA and a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Wytheville, VA. During his life, William enjoyed working with horses and loved the rodeo. He enjoyed the mountains and wildlife of S.W. VA. He never missed an opportunity to get out on the dance floor. He had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. He enjoyed riding his beloved, red scooter. He was a kind, compassionate, loving, giving and hardworking humble man with many friends. He will be truly missed. Heaven gained a special angel on Jan. 8, 2017. He is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Johnie Kolesar and husband Michael of Hot Springs Village, AR, LaTrese Hubert and husband Wayne of Wytheville, VA.; daughter, Jody Stephens of Pflugerville, TX.; sons and daughter-in-law, William John Sweetwater and wife Kathy of Newman, CA., Robert Sweetwater of Mareno Valley, CA.; granddaughter, Hailey of Pflugerville, TX; grandson, Zachary Stephens of Pflugerville, TX.; niece, Monae Overmon of S.C.; nephews, Sean Overmon of O.K., Matt Ligon of Tomball, TX, Mike Ligon of Navasota, TX.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Friday, January 13, 2017 at St. Paul United Methodist church, conducted by The Reverend Paul B. Longmire.
