Obituary of Wanda Sue Brewer

Wanda Sue Brewer age, 74, of Speedwell, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023. She was born in Wythe County to the late Aubrey and Hattie Kane Brewer. She was preceded in death by nine siblings, Jimmy, Ray, Roy, Bobby, Don, Ruby, Virginia, Betty and Pete. She survived by brother and sister-in-law, Butch and Patty Brewer of Speedwell; two sisters-in-law, Sharon Brewer and Glenny Brewer both of Speedwell; numerous nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews also survive. A funeral service will be held 2 P.M. Thursday, August 31, 2023, at the Grubb Funeral Home with the Reverend Doug Stuart and the Reverend Richard Collins officiating. Interment will follow in the Speedwell United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the time of the service on Thursday at the Grubb Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Speedwell Cemetery Fund.
