Obituary of Edward Leonard Corvin

Edward Leonard "Ralph" Corvin (aka Pops) born November 12, 1937, age 85 passed away on September 15, 2023. He was the son of the late Arthur & Laura Hounshell Corvin. He was also preceded in death by his late wife Betty W. Corvin; 6 brothers, Burford Corvin, Melvin Hounshell, Rudolph Corvin, Henry Corvin, Charles Corvin and Levine Corvin. 2 sisters, Annie Bishop, and Joy C. Waller. Mr. Corvin is survived by sons, Gerald Corvin & daughter-in-law Jennifer Corvin of Wytheville, David Corvin & daughter-in-law Tresi Corvin of Wytheville, Edward Stanley and wife Judy of Tennessee. Sister Josephine Corvin of Crockett; brother Clayton Corvin of Wytheville. Grandchildren Nikki & John Gardner, Kati & Brent Taylor, Lorrye & Branden Tibbs, Chelsey & Jason Duncan; Great-grandchildren, Carter Duncan, Kimber Tibbs, Emma Gardner, Charlotte Gardner. Best friend "Jake" Gauge. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held 11 A.M Tuesday September 19, 2023, at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Reverend Eddie Braddy and Reverend Steve Yates with interment to follow at the Berea Christain Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday September 18, 2023, from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. at Grubb Funeral Home.
