She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Dr. William Daniel Prince, III and Scott Dugger Prince. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Garnett S. Miller, Jr of Wytheville, VA; son and daughter-in-law, William G. Upon graduation from Longwood, Polly spent a summer in Tazewell, VA and moved to Wytheville, VA to become a 4-H Extension Agent. From 4-H to teaching at Ft. Chiswell High School, she loved meeting and getting to know people. Upon retirement, she became active with Delta Kappa Gamma and with the Stuart – Wilderness Road Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution where she held multiple offices.
