Margaret Virginia Hale, age 82, of Speedwell passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024. She was the daughter of the late John William (Tom) and Margaret Russell Hale. She was preceded in death by her sisters; Frances Ellen Marie Fowler, Anna Elizabeth Funk, Arkie Lee Johnson; brothers, Gene Ray Hale, William Russell Hale, and Andy Joe Hale.

Margaret is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Emily Kay Lephew (Tom) of Dublin; grandson, Joshua Stacy of Dublin; granddaughter, Chelsea Stacy of Pulaski; 3 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Faye Hale of Speedwell and Willie Hale of Wytheville; special nieces, Janet Copenhaver and Anna Townley; special friend, Charles Miller; numerous nephews and nieces also survive.

A graveside service will be held 2 P.M. Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Speedwell Methodist Church Cemetery conducted by Reverend Doug Stuart. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.grubbfuneralhome.com
