Katherine Elizabeth Horne- Bowling, age 53, of Daniels, WV passed away at Charleston Area Medical Center Memorial Division in Charleston, WV on Wednesday, April 24, 2024.

Born on September 1, 1970, in Farmville, Virginia, she was the daughter of Clayton Horne and Fran Barker Horne of Rural Retreat, Virginia.

Beth as she was known by her family and friends was a disabled marketing and advertising consultant. She held a B.S. Degree in Psychology from Walden University in Minnesota, and had spent her childhood in the Wytheville, Virginia area.

Beth enjoyed singing and was a great vocalist. She once had opened for George Jones, a famous country music singer at the Brushfork Armory. She was also a former cast member at the Wolfahrt Haus Dinner Theater in Wytheville, Virginia and also at the Barter Theater in Abingdon, Virginia. Beth was a very outgoing and sociable person. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. In her later years, she hosted her YouTube Channel, "Mama Beth's World" where she had a large following.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her parents, Clayton and Fran Horne of Rural Retreat, Virginia; her husband of twelve years, Daniel Carr Johnston Bowling III of Daniels, WV; a daughter Madeline Lenore; a brother David Clayton Horne II and his wife Erin Sutika Horne, and their children Graycen and Scarlett of Cary, NC, and her canine companion, Daisy

A memorial service to Celebrate the Life of Katherine Elizabeth Horne- Bowling will be held 7 P.M. Wednesday May 1, 2024, at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel.
