Obituary of Frank Lee Sheffey

Frank Lee Sheffey age 90, of Wytheville, passed away on December 1, 2024. He was born on July 30, 1934 to the late Hansel and Elsie Groseclose Sheffey and was preceded in death by his adopted parents, Earnest Wesley and Martha Groseclose Sheffey. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Gaye Patton Sheffey, son Gregory Earl Sheffey, three brothers, Donald, Robert and David Sheffey; two sisters, Margaret Ellen Shaw and Alice Parks. Survivors included four sons and daughters-in-law, Eugene and Ruby Sheffey; Donald and Robin Sheffey; Lawrence and Sandra Sheffey; John Wesley and Chrissy Sheffey; ten grandchildren and spouses, Kotie and Justin Broyles; Nikki and Jacob Grubbs; Franklin and Ashley Sheffey; Earnie Sheffey; Susanna and Glenn Mitchell; Stuart Ray Sheffey; Dionne and Stephen Zinn; Adam Sheffey; Mary “LuLu” Sheffey and Kayla Sheffey; 15 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephew also survive.
