Walter Marshall Hoback age 85, of Speedwell, passed away on December 4, 2024. He was born on October 17, 1939, to the late Walter H. and Nannie Elizabeth Lineberry Hoback; sister Sarah Agnes Hoback; brother, Everett Hasten Hoback; brother-in-law, Roy P. Hale.

Survivors include three brothers, Thomas C. Hoback, Robert H Hoback and Randy Hoback; three sisters, Mary Nancy Hoback, Edna Elizabeth Hoback and Barbara Anne Hale all of Speedwell, VA; several cousins and friends; adopted brother, Billy Adams.

Funeral service will be held 2 P.M. Sunday December 8, 2024, at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Reverend Derek Cowan, with interment to follow in the Speedwell Methodist Church Cemetery.
