Obituary of Ronnie Pauley
Ronnie Pauley, beloved father, grandfather, and friend, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday December 10th, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and strength. Born to Clarence and Alice Pauley in Oceana, West Virginia, Ronnie was a proud son of the Appalachian Mountains, where his roots and values were deeply planted.
Ronnie’s faith in the Lord was the foundation of his life. He found peace and purpose in his relationship with God, which influenced the love and wisdom he shared with everyone around him. He lived with humility and integrity and had a servant's heart that touched countless lives. He was kind and steadfast and loved his friends and family fiercely.
In his younger years, Ronnie served his country with honor in the U.S. Army. His military service instilled in him a sense of duty and perseverance that he carried into his daily and professional life. As a highly respected leader and builder, he poured dedication and craftsmanship into his work with Ulliman Schutte Construction. He truly loved his work and cared deeply for the lifelong friends he found there.
Above all, family was the cornerstone of his life. He cherished the bonds he had with his four children: Modesty Pauley Brantley of Myrtle Beach, SC; Ronnie Andrew Jacob Pauley of Floyd, VA; Shon David Pauley of Bassett, VA; and Nadia Aleece Pauley of Bassett, VA. He also adored his grandchildren: Jacob, Ella, Nevaeh and Brentley, who filled his heart with joy.
Ronnie’s unwavering faith, strength, and love will continue to inspire those he left behind. His family and friends take comfort in knowing he is at peace in the presence of his Savior. He often spoke of the temporary nature of life here on Earth and looked to eternity with the Lord as his true home. His family finds peace in knowing he is rejoicing there today.
