Obituary of Jane Rose Bassetti
Jane Rose Bassetti, age 81, of Wytheville, passed away Monday, August 8, 2017. She was the daughter of the late James and Alice Rose and preceded in death by her husband Joseph Bassetti,Sr.; sister, Shirley Sparks; brothers, George Rose, James Rose. Jane is survived by her daughters, Debra Jody Handwerk, Sissy Gravley; son and daughter-in-law,Joseph “Bo”& Debra Bassetti; sister, Faye Hayes; grandchildren, Margie Shumate, Melanie Kitts, Julian Shumate, Johnathan Shumate, Clarence “Poky” Gravley, Jr., Charles Preston “P.J.” Gravley, Catrina Hall, Stacy Mullins, Joseph “JoJo” Bassetti; 17 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral service will be held 7 P.M. Friday, August 11, 2017 at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel conducted by The Reverend Sonny Ayers and The Reverend Gary Jonas. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 5 P.M. until service time. A graveside service will be held 11 A.M. Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Mt. Pleasant Community Cemetery.
