I don't know what made me do a search for Dave, but I'm so sad to learn of his death. I worked with him at EG&G Idaho. He taught me so much and contributed to who I am today. I have been looking online for a way to contact David and only today (8/14/2019) found this obituary on Google, so I guess it will be a few more years before I can finally complete that search.
I was in the Army with Ren and we lived together several years after that and the memories (including plenty of those funny sayings) have never left my brain for a moment.
I still miss him and offer my sincere prayers for his family and loved ones.

I just found out of Dave's death today (January 26, 2019), when I saw the death notice in the Idaho National Laboratory Retiree Association newsletter. Dave and I worked together from 1990 until he retired, even though we were separated by 2000 miles - me in Idaho and he in Lynchburg. I so enjoyed our relationship. We were together at least three times a year when I visited and when he came to Idaho. During the other times, we were on the phone almost daily. Dave was diligent and untiring. I am a better person knowing Dave.

David was my cousin and I got to see him when my family would visit my grandparents in Ajo from our home in Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico. I remember him as sweet and quiet, and although I didn't see him often, I'm very sad to hear of his death. I am praying for his family as they adjust to life without him.
