Curtis Walker Stowers, age 87, of Bland, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016. He was the son of the late Grover W. and Nellie Stowers, a US Army veteran and was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Hancock Stowers. He is survived by his brother & sister-in-law, Vernon & Mary Stowers of Bland; nieces & spouses, Debbie & Gary Looney of Bland, Cheryl & Karl Pennington of Bland, Cathy & Wendell Parker of Bland; several extended nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held 7 PM Wednesday May 11, 2016 in the Grubb Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5 PM until service time. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
