Obituary of Earl Wood Davis

Earl Wood Davis, age 80, of Wytheville, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018. He was the son of the late Roy C. and Nellie Bell Davis. Earl was preceded in death by his sons, Johnnie Davis and Donnie Davis; brothers, Roy Davis, Rufus Davis, roger Davis, Curtis Davis; sister, Betty Hickson, and 2 infants siblings. He is survived by his wife, Marie Davis of Wytheville; brothers and sister-in-law, Elmo and Grace Davis, Kenneth Davis, Billy Joe Davis all of Wytheville; 1 grandchild, 1 great grandchild, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral service will be held 2 P.M Monday, April 16, 2018 at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel conducted by The Reverend Ronnie Umberger and The Reverend Ted Anders, with interment to follow at Mt. View Cemetery. The family will receive friend Monday from 12:30 P.M. until service time.
